Help! I want to become Luggage, but this is all Welsh to me!

Help! I want to become Luggage, but this is all Welsh to me!

So, you are coming to Wales with me.  Awesome.  You're excited, I am excited.  Everything is great.  Except, you don't know how to do it.  You don't know how to join PNN, you don't know how to join the Christmas in Wales Group, and you don't know how to put the luggage icon on your page.

No Prob.  I've written out step by step instructions for each of the three steps it takes to "Become Luggage"

Step One: Join PNN

PNN.com is an easy way for the average Joe (And Joesephine.  And Jose.  And, well, you get the point.) to create their own webpages.

First, go to pnn.com.  Click the Start Now sign.

Fill out the little box that asks you for your name, email address, etc.  Take care in choosing your Username, as it will also be your URL.  (Ex., my username is ChristmasinWales, and my URL is http://christmasinwales.pnn.com)

Click on the Sign Up sign.

Start adding text, photos, movies, and audio clips to your page by using the tool bar on the left side on your screen.  Play around a little, and feel free to make mistakes.  Just click the little trash can on the upper right hand corner of any element you add to you page to get rid of it, or click edit to change the element you have added.

Remember that you don't have to keep pictures or text boxes that your page comes with.  Click the little trash can on the upper right corner if you want to get rid of them.

Go here if you need "Help" http://help.pnn.com.

Step Two: Join the Christmas in Wales Group

Now that you are a PNN author, you can join the Christmas in Wales Group.

Go to http://pnn.com/groups and click on A Girly's Christmas in Wales.

Click on the red Join Sign.

Affirm that you do, in fact, and to  join "A Girly's Christmas in Wales" Group on the next page and click join again on the next page.

You're done!

FYI: now that you are a member of a group, anytime you add a text box, photo, or audio clip to your site, you will have the option to post it to the "A Girly's Christmas in Wales Group."  This option will show up while you are editing such a document.  If you think the article/photo/audio clip you are adding is appropriate for this group, you can choose to post it to the group by using the drop down menu at the bottom corner of your edit box.

Step Three: Put the Luggage Icon on Your Page

Below this article, you will find your "Luggage" icon.  Everyone who is following my trip is posting this icon on their pages.  It's so i know what luggage (AKA Super Cool PNN peeps) I should grab off the luggage carousal at Heathrow.

The first thing you have to do to get this icon ion your page is get it off the internet and on your computer.

If you have a Mac, just click on it and drag it off the page and on to your desktop.

If you have a PC, then right click on the Luggage icon, scroll down to "save to computer" and then tell your computer where you want it to save.

Now, to put the Luggage icon on your PNN page.

Login to your page.

Use the left hand menu.  Click on multimedia, then Graphics.

Choose Your Graphics.

Click on browse, then locate the graphic on your computer.

Click Upload.

Once Upload is complete, click add graphic.

Viola!  Luggage is now on your PNN page.  Click and drag it to move it to a different place on your page.
